Holiday

It has been a while since I last posted so I thought I would update you all on the great holiday I had at the end of last month.

I went to Ohio to catch up with some old friends and family. Now I know you may not think that Ohio is a very popular holiday destination within the states but let me give you some interesting facts about the place:

Ohio is only a little smaller than the UK in land size
Ohio has the 4th largest gay population behind San Fransisco, NY and Washington DC
Columbus is the capital of Ohio named after the famous explorer of course
OSU (Ohio State University) occupies the largest campus site in Columbus
Ohio's 'thing' is the Buckeye tree, in particular the "Aesculus glabra Willdenow" a palm like leaf tree
Ohio is mainly a 'red' state (Rebuplican) however can often be a deciding state when it comes to the presidential elections
Ohio is the 34th biggest state

So enough of the facts and onto my holiday.

It was great seeing everyone again and this time around I even hired my own car. Driving in America is pretty easy as the roads are so nice and big and everywhere is really well signposted.

I spent my whole week darting around catching up with everyone so enjoy the pics in my photo album.
